Membership of PhytoTrade Africa is open to organisations and individuals based in the following eight countries: Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Members must commit to:
- abide by PhytoTrade Africa’s principles of Fair Trade and Sustainability and sign our Charter.
- abide by the PhytoTrade Africa Constitution.
- collaborate with us on developing win-win solutions for the natural products industry.
- keep our technical and market information confidential. See our Information Handling Policy.
There are two categories of membership: Corporate and Individual. Corporate members are entitled to the full range of PhytoTrade Africa’s services. Individual membership offers a limited range of services for people with a non-commercial (eg. academic) interest in natural products.
- Corporate Member US$100
- Individual Member US$50
Joining fees are charged on a once-off basis to new members, and are an additional 50% of the annual fees payable by a new member.
How to Apply
Simply complete a membership application form.
On receipt of your application form we will contact your references and review your application. All membership applications must be approved by the PhytoTrade Africa Board which meets quarterly. When the Board has approved your application, your membership will become active as soon as your annual membership fees are received.
Corporate applicants are asked to provide a copy of their most recent annual report and documentary evidence of their legal status (e.g. company Articles or welfare registration certificate) along with their application form. If you are applying for Individual membership please include your CV.
